Well, I suppose it's time to introduce the actual ladies who are the "Ladies of the Adirondacks." Going in alphabetical order so as not to imply the importance of any one lady, we consist of Jenny, Lauren, Sierra and myself, Vicki. I suppose I could have come up with some kind of mysterious screen name for each of us, but that would have required way more thought than I have at this point (it's been a challenging day). We all have interesting stories, but this blog is all about our adventures together, so biographies will be kept brief. There are several things that can be said of each one of us. We all...
...want to be skinny
...carry baggage of some sort or another
...enjoy the company of fine looking gentlemen (including our husbands)
...love to laugh
...strive to be happy
...make some good choices
...make some not-so-good choices
That being said, let's continue with a more personal touch...
"Well-behaved women rarely make history." ~Laurel Thather Ulrich
Born March 9, 1973, she enjoys hiking, scrapbooking, computers and reading. Jenny's hometown is Fishkill, NY, and she currently resides in Wilmington.
"If you don't have anything nice to say, come sit over here by me."
Born May 9, 1970, she enjoys playing with the doggies, skiing, reading, swimming and kayaking. Lauren's hometown is in New Jersey, and she currently resides in Wilmington.
"Are you fucking kidding me right now?"
Born May 2, 1973, she enjoys riding bikes, running, walking and gardening. Sierra's hometown is Lake Placid, NY and she currently resides in Au Sable Forks.
No quote, just a laugh (because that's what she does)
Born February 19, 1966, she enjoys singing, music, running and being with people. Vicki's hometown is Peru, NY and she currently resides in Au Sable Forks.
Well there you have it. That's the background info. Perhaps the next post should be about how we all met. And pictures too. We need pictures! Yes indeed.
